Interbank regrets to inform of the passing of its CEO
We regret to inform that Jorge Flores Espinoza, CEO of Interbank, died on January 05. His death was caused by a heart attack. Mr. Flores Espinoza worked at Interbank since 1996 and was appointed CEO in March 2007.
He graduated as an economist from the University of Lima and a Master in Business Administration graduated from ESAN. He completed his studies at the Harvard Business School.
With Flores as leader, Interbank grew stronger in the national banking sector and it was honored with many awards. Mr. Flores Espinoza always demonstrated his profound concern in ensuring that banking services were more accessible to all Peruvians. He leaves a legacy of integrity, vision and dedication to work.
Interbank’s family will remember him not only as a great leader, but also as good friend and an
extraordinary person.
