Interbank appoints new CEO
Lima, Perú, December 15, 2010. Intergroup Financial Services Corp. (“IFS” or “the Company”) (Bolsa de Valores de Lima: IFS) announced today that its subsidiary, Interbank, appointed Mr. Luis Felipe Castellanos as new Chief Executive Officer, replacing Interim Chief Executive Officer Mr. Carlos Rodriguez‐Pastor. Mr. Castellanos will assume his new role at Interbank on January 1, 2011.
Mr. Castellanos has served in various senior positions at Interbank since joining the Company in 2006, including Chief Executive Officer of Interfondos, Interbank’s Asset Management Division, as well as the Head of the Mortgages and Real Estate Divisions. Beginning in May 2009, Mr. Castellanos was the Executive Vice President for Retail Banking at Interbank.
Prior to joining Interbank, Mr. Castellanos was an Investment Banking Executive Director at Citigroup. Mr. Castellanos obtained an MBA from The Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
